Finsure Group, an aggregator in the brokerage industry, has enhanced its broker network capabilities through a partnership with Deposit Assure, a deposit bond specialist, in a move aimed to simplify the home buying process.

Simplifying the property market

Damien Thompson (pictured above), Finsure’s head of asset and diversification, said Deposit Assure’s solutions hasten buyers’ ability to secure homes before prices surge.

“Given the current landscape of increasing interest rates and a limited housing supply nationwide, it's essential to offer our members the tools that simplify transactions for both buyers and sellers,” Thompson said.

“This is what has made Finsure partnering with Deposit Assure so appealing. They understand the opportunity their deposit bonds offer home buyers, but also how it can enable mortgage brokers to expand their customer base and help more Australians.”

He also praised Deposit Assure’s support for partners and customers, noting, "You can’t fake a 5-star rating on TrustPilot, especially with more than 2,100 reviews.”

Addressing home buyer challenges

Etienne Rizzo, co-founder and CEO of Deposit Assure, shed light on the current hurdles in the Australian property market.

"One of the biggest challenges home buyers face is the need to sell before they buy, risking the loss of their dream home due to the lack of a cash deposit," Rizzo said.

Deposit Assure’s FLEXI deposit bond, with its instant issuance feature, offers a solution, enabling buyers to quickly secure pre-approved deposit bonds of up to 10% of their maximum intended purchase price, with no upfront cost.

Rizzo believes that the partnership grants Finsure’s members a significant advantage in addressing today’s real estate challenges.

“By streamlining processes, we empower them to focus on their core strengths – helping clients achieve property success,” he said.
