A new partnership has been dubbed a “gamechanger” for commercial brokers, or brokers who want to diversify.

Connective has joined forces with Valiant Finance, which will enable brokers to digitally generate a business loan quote for customers and refer them to a team which packages and places the transaction with Valiant's panel of funding partners.

Announced at Connective’s conference on the Gold Coast, the partnership is the aggregator’s latest initiative aimed at supporting brokers who want to diversify into commercial lending as well as their existing commercial brokers.

Commercial lending at Connective continues to grow, with more than a 250% uplift over the past three years.

Mark Haron, Connective’s director, said, “When we first spoke with Valiant, we knew their proposition solved a large gap in the business finance market.

“Partnering with Valiant allows us to enhance our brokers' offering to clients and improve our service. This will be a gamechanger, and we're looking forward to tracking the positive impact that the partnership will have on our members and their small business clients.”

Many of the group’s customers are part of Australia's community of 2 million small business owners.

The Valiant partnership signifies the broadening of Connective's offering to its brokers, allowing them to easily and swiftly diversify into business lending and ensuring more brokers are supporting small businesses in securing successful funding outcomes.

Valiant is a market leader in business finance, counting Westpac Bank among its industry partners.

The Valiant platform enables customers and brokers to access every major bank, non-bank and peer-to-business lender in the market using an advanced search tool that matches the customer to the best lender in their network.

The platform will be tightly integrated into Connective's CRM system, Mercury, arming Connective brokers with the tool to service their clients from within their existing software environment.

Valiant will provide brokers with additional income streams, whether they want to manage clients themselves or have Valiant do the work for them.
