Pepper Money’s National Insights Roadshow will commence this week with a record number already set to attend.

Following the success of last year’s roadshow, this year’s event will provide brokers with access to new tools, technology, techniques and products designed by Pepper to grow broker business through specialist lending.

Last year, the event attracted more than 1,000 brokers across six cities. This year, more than double this number has registered to attend in five capitals.

The theme this year is a masterclass in specialist lending, Mario Rehayem, managing director of Australian mortgages and personal loans, told Australian Broker.

“We want to educate brokers about the alternative solutions available for their clients who may be credit impaired, self-employed or affected by serviceability changes,” he said.

For the first time, brokers will be given access to Andrew Paterson, Pepper’s head of credit. Furthermore, attendees will also be the first to experience the lender’s new digital offering, a platform which aims to provide more accurate, timely offerings to broker clients.

“Every Australian should know what their borrowing options are, and our Insights Roadshow is about arming brokers with the information required to provide their customers with the very best service and offerings,” said Aaron Milburn, director of sales and distribution for Australian mortgages and personal loans.

“We’re really excited to be able to connect with a diverse range of brokers across the country at our upcoming roadshow series, an important aspect of Pepper’s education offering to the third-party channel.”

The roadshow will include presentations from Paterson, Milburn and Rehayem.

“It’s crucial for brokers to be prepared for, and educated on, every opportunity that exists in the lending market. The Pepper Money roadshows are an important learning opportunity for brokers to understand the entire lending market and how it can benefit their businesses,” Milburn told Australian Broker.

The event is now in its third year and will be held in five capital cities on the following dates:
  • Melbourne (31 May)
  • Brisbane (2 June)
  • Perth (6 June)
  • Adelaide (7 June)
  • Sydney (20 June)
At each state roadshow, brokers will also have the chance to win $4,000 to spend on business coaching or a custom course of their choice from the Institute of Strategic Management.
