ScotPac, a non-bank business lender, and Gallagher, a global business insurance and risk management specialist, have announced a partnership that aims to provide their clients with an easier way to access their offerings.

With the agreement, clients from both firms will be able to access business finance and insurance products through a cross-referral partnership that will be facilitated by business relationship experts from the two companies.

Clients will also be able to access comprehensive financial and insurance solutions like business loans that range from $10,000 to $4 million, asset finance, public liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance and mobile plant and equipment coverage.

“ScotPac is delighted to partner with another leader in its field who can provide our clients with a complementary and critical professional service,” said ScotPac Group Executive Craig Michie.

“We look forward to our clients reaping the benefits this partnership will bring, especially the peace of mind of knowing they have access to all the finance and insurance products and advice they will ever need.”

Andrew Whittle, Gallagher managing director of partnerships and agency, also spoke about how the partnership will help the insurer in expanding its range of services.

“Partnering with ScotPac is a natural fit for our business in terms of our national SME reach, our distribution models and our tech-enabled delivery platforms. We look forward to working with ScotPac to help our clients make more informed decisions about their business finance, insurance and risk needs,” said Whittle.

ScotPac has seen a 400% growth in the number of its clients as well as an 80% increase in its total lending within the last three years. Meanwhile, Gallagher offers customisable insurance products for SMEs to individuals and businesses. It has more than 30 branches all over Australia as well as 1,000 insurance professionals in regional and metropolitan areas.

The partnership between the two firms followed Scotpac’s recent alliance with specialist payroll funding and back-office solutions provider APositive.
