Fintech company Wisr has announced the appointment of Nicole Evans (pictured, right) to the role of head of broker, effective March 8. She succeeds the departing Peter Beaumont, the company’s chief commercial officer (CCO) and former head of broker.

Evans joined Wisr in 2019, initially as Queensland’s business development manager (BDM). Evans was named a finalist for the FBAA lender BDM of the Year award twice. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the conception and growth of Wisr’s Secured Vehicle Loan product. Evans was promoted to senior BDM for Queensland, Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, and New South Wales (regional) in 2022.

“Wisr is committed to investing in people, products, and services to help our brokers support their clients and grow their businesses,” said Wisr CEO Andrew Goodwin (pictured, left).

Goodwin highlighted Evans’s extensive experience and collaboration with Beaumont over the past five years, during which she spearheaded numerous successful initiatives benefiting Wisr’s network of over 10,000 broker partners.

“Our team is looking forward to driving the growth strategy for the broker network,” Evans said. She said the company was committed to empowering brokers to expand and diversify their businesses for the benefit of their clients.

Beaumont, whose nine-year tenure at Wisr included executive leadership roles, departs with accolades and gratitude from Wisr’s leadership, the company said. In 2021, Beaumont’s contributions were recognized with CEO Magazine’s “Sales Executive of the Year” award.

“I thank Peter for his significant tenure and contribution to Wisr's success,” Goodwin said. “Since 2015, Peter has led the build and delivery of Wisr’s highly regarded broker channel. Under his leadership, Wisr has delivered consistent service and strong relationships that are now the cornerstone of our broker experience. He has provided invaluable leadership and guidance to the next generation at Wisr. We wish him all the best.”
