The AFA is bringing the financial advice community together through its highly anticipated conference program, after three years without an in-person conference.

AFA’s Thrive Program will be held at the RACV Royal Pines on the Gold Coast Sept. 21-23, featuring an impressive line-up of sessions and speakers.

Speakers include two-time world para-surfing champion Sam Bloom (sponsored by MLC Life), Ret. Major Matina Jewell, adventurer and environmental scientist Tim Jarvis (sponsored by AIA), and Vinh Giang (sponsored by TAL). Also on the agenda is Minister for Financial Services Stephen Jones, as well as a panel discussion with Michelle Levy on the Quality of Advice Review.

Conference delegates will also be treated to other sessions on ESG investing and the broader global economic outlook, with a number of advisers sharing their tips on implementing best practice solutions and importantly, achieving great client outcomes.

The AFA’s annual awards program is also back with Zurich-sponsored Adviser of the Year and TAL-sponsored Female Excellence in Advice awards – both being presented at the conference gala dinner on Sept. 23.

“We are excited to be hosting our valued members and partners once again at the RACV Royal Pines, providing a strong program of quality content, speakers, and social activity as well as awarding the best and brightest in our profession,” AFA President Sam Perera said.

Attendees can still register at a special early bird rate through Aug. 8. AFA members can register for early bird at $1,095, and non-members for $1,395.
