Australian Finance Group (AFG) has added Bond Property Lawyers to its Partner Connect program, expanding broker access to property law and conveyancing services through an integrated digital platform.

Launched in 2024, Partner Connect links AFG brokers and their clients with trusted service providers, helping brokers diversify income and deliver more value. The latest partnership gives brokers direct referral access to Bond’s technology-enabled conveyancing, loan and security documentation, and property legal advice.

AFG brokers will be the first in the industry to use Bond’s integrated communication platform, which provides real-time case updates directly within broker systems, improving turnaround times and client transparency.

“This collaboration embodies the true intent of our Partner Connect program – empowering brokers and their customers by partnering with industry-leading providers,” said Them Lam (pictured above), AFG head of sales and distribution.

Streamlining legal processes for brokers and clients

Ross McDougall, AFG growth manager, said the partnership will help brokers enhance customer experience and loyalty.

“Every property transaction requires high-quality conveyancing and legal advice, and we’re excited to offer direct access to a trusted provider,” McDougall said.

Rex Afrasiabi, Bond Property Lawyers principal lawyer, said the firm’s model places mortgage brokers at the heart of the client journey.

“Our sole B2B2C focus places mortgage brokers at the centre of the transaction,” Afrasiabi said. “Our Net Promoter Score consistently sits more than 150% above the industry benchmark – a testament to the exceptional client experience we deliver.”

Bill Nikolouzakis, Bond co-founder, said the firm aims to fix a long-standing industry issue.

“Too often, mortgage brokers are the last to know about important updates,” Nikolouzakis said. “Bond Property Lawyers closes that gap by integrating directly into the core systems brokers use every day, giving them real-time updates, status tracking, and 24/7 access to documents.”

Exclusive broker offer

To mark the partnership, Bond Property Lawyers is offering AFG brokers a $100 discount on its services and free contract reviews for a limited time.

AFG’s Partner Connect program, now integrated with AFG Suite360, connects brokers to a growing network of providers including Broli Finance, Marketplace Finance, and AIA Financial Wellbeing.
