A mortgage aggregator has grown its broker support team by three through the appointment of two new BDMs and a business coach.

Finsure Group welcomed Chelsea Deacon into the role of BDM for Victoria and Cherish French as BDM for New South Wales, while new business coach Rachel Johnson will be based in Melbourne.

“The continued growth of our 1,700 strong broker network necessitates expanding our highly regarded BDM team,” said general manager of aggregation, Simon Bednar.

Deacon has strong commercial and asset finance knowledge, having spent more than 10 years in the broking and finance industry as a BDM at ANZ, Bankwest and RateSetter.

French previously worked as a lender relationship manager at Resimac and, given her stint as a broker herself, understands the importance of having a supportive BDM.

New business coach Johnson has passed eight years in the finance industry across a range of roles at Bankwest.

“The business coach provides marketing strategies, support around recruitment and management of broker support staff as well as assistance with other items such as accountancy, time management and business planning," Bednar explained.

“Our training and education program is not just limited to teaching brokers how to be better salespeople. The training and education machine developed by Finsure takes a far more holistic approach when it comes to supporting broker business development," he finished.
