Major aggregator FAST says it is committed to supporting women in the broking industry, and that it is the only aggregator with a dedicated professional development program for women.

Launched last year, the FAST Women in Finance event series offers female brokers a forum to come together, network and share best practice business tips and strategies.

Due to a strong response, the aggregator expanded the event this year. In addition to Sydney and Melbourne, the event travelled to Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth – with each event receiving a strong response from local brokers.

Speaking at the Sydney event on Friday, FAST CEO Brendan Wright said the Women in Finance event series was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of FAST’s commitment to women.

“We want to attract more female brokers to the FAST network and we want our female brokers to be the industry’s most successful and this is a key focus for us moving forward. FAST strives to lead the industry in catering to ambitious, business-minded brokers and we believe the opportunities for women to play in this top tier of the industry are just as strong for women as they are for their male counterparts," he said.

“Mortgage broking represents a great career path for women and we are dedicated to supporting women to succeed in this exciting, ever-evolving industry,” Wright added.
