Following the rearrangement of its executive team two weeks ago, an aggregator has appointed a new national sales manager for its home loan business.

AFG has welcomed Hayden Cush to the senior role at AFG Home Loans. Cush started with AFG Home Loans in 2013 as a business relationship manager (BRM), first in Brisbane and then in Melbourne where he quickly established himself as “one of the division’s best performers.”

AFG Home Loans was launched 12 years and offers a range of home loan products, funded both internally and via external partners.

Cush will now lead the sales team across the country, mentoring the white label BDMs who work for AFG, and managing the relationships with the aggregator’s white label funders.

“The most exciting thing for me is I can now take what I’ve been able to learn in the past five years in Melbourne, having personally done the BRM job myself, and help the other BRMs around the country to increase their business,” said Cush.

“I’ll also be going around to all the states to make sure that our key broker partners are aware that we now have a dedicated resource in the role of national sales manager, since we haven’t had that for the past year,” he added.

Cush has a bachelor of commerce, banking and finance. He formerly spent five years at Suncorp Bank, where he completed their graduate program and subsequently worked in the mortgage space.
