Major aggregator Connective has partnered with loan protection specialist, ALI Group to integrate ALI’s online application process with its broker software platform, Mercury 5.

The integration will allow Connective brokers to protect their clients without leaving Mercury. Brokers will be able to launch a pre-populated loan protection application directly from the platform, eliminating the need to enter client details, obtain signatures or send any paperwork to ALI Group.

“We encourage all Connective brokers to have the vital conversation around loan protection with their clients, and this integration is the perfect vehicle to facilitate that,” Glenn Lees, chief executive officer of Connective said.

“Our brokers can now easily embed loan protection into their standard sales process. This is also a great opportunity for them to provide a more comprehensive service and greater value-add to their clients, which in turn creates stickier, more loyal clients. ”

ALI Group’s chief executive officer, Huy Truong, said integration with Mercury 5 is a “significant step” which reflects the increasing belief within the mortgage industry that loan protection is an important part of the broker’s service to their clients.

A select number of Connective brokers have been piloting the integration since May 2015 with ALI Group reporting positive feedback from participating brokers.
