AMP has revealed the names of five new C-suite team members, tasked with salvaging the group’s troubled wealth management division.

The new team – recruited from Credit Suisse, RBS and internally at AMP – will report to Alex Wade, who joined the business earlier this year.

Taking on the role of CEO SuperConcepts, AMP’s SMSF administration services business, Lara Bourguignon has been promoted from within AMP and will commence the new role mid-month.

From June, she will be joined by Lakshman Anantakrishnan, who takes on the role of chief investment officer responsible for supporting AMP’s superannuation trustees.

Anantakrishnan is tasked with ensuring members receive the “strongest possible investment returns”.

He previously worked at Credit Suisse, where he was most recently head of portfolio management, leading a team managing global multi-asset portfolios across multiple risk profiles and strategies.

Also joining from Credit Suisse is Fraser Herd, who has been named MD of client relationships. Herd is tasked with building and enhancing AMP’s direct advice channels and will start at AMP at the end of June.

In the role of COO is Jen Thomas, who from RBS. She has “deep experience” leading operations, technology and change in financial services and will commence her new role in early May.

Finally, Ant Dureau, has taken on the role of chief client officer, promoted from his role as AMP’s acting director strategic marketing and customer experience. He has a strong history of driving large-scale projects with expertise in brand, acquisition, client and channel management and will move into the new role mid-month.
