Aussie has partnered with AI-native fintech and asset finance brokerage LoanOptions.ai to broaden the support available to its national broker network, giving brokers a new referral pathway for customers seeking finance for vehicles, equipment, business assets, and other personal lending needs.
LoanOptions.ai will also become a comprehensive asset finance partner across the wider Lendi Group platform under the deal.
Lendi Group chief product officer Travis Tyler (pictured left) said the deal was designed to keep brokers connected to clients beyond settlement.
"Broker businesses are built on trust and long-term relationships, and those relationships shouldn't stop once the home loan settles," Tyler said.
He added that "the opportunity for brokers is to remain part of those conversations rather than seeing that business go elsewhere."
Under the arrangement, Aussie's more than 1,350 brokers can refer customers to an end-to-end digital application backed by a panel of more than 90 lenders through LoanOptions.ai's matching tool, AILO.
Applicants complete just three steps — uploading a driver's licence, providing a payslip or business details, and linking their bank account — before the platform's Autocomplete Contextual Engine verifies the data and pre-fills up to 80 per cent of the application. A dedicated LoanOptions.ai specialist then manages the process and keeps the referring broker updated from application through to settlement.
The offering is aimed at helping brokers capture lending needs that arise around a property transaction but fall outside a standard home loan — covering everything from cars, utes, and light trucks to farm and construction equipment, business fit-outs, renovations, and debt consolidation.
Citing CFBA data, the companies note that 70% of customers are likely to purchase an asset within nine months of buying a home, pointing to a substantial pool of demand already sitting within existing broker relationships. These deals also tend to have shorter application and settlement cycles than home loans, offering brokers a quicker revenue turnaround.
LoanOptions.ai CEO and founder Julian Fayad (pictured right) said the partnership "represents the perfect intersection of sophisticated, AI-native technology and elite human service," adding that it enables "mortgage brokers to effortlessly diversify their revenue streams while ensuring their clients receive an unmatched, transparent asset finance experience."
That experience is underpinned by AILO's ISO 27001 certification, allowing customers to apply for personal, business, car and equipment loans in under five minutes through a white-label experience. LoanOptions.ai joins Aussie's existing options in the space, including Platform Finance and Aussie Auto powered by Pepper, and the panel is now live nationwide.
Fayad said the ambition extends beyond the current rollout: "Aussie is the number one choice for mortgages in Australia, and our goal with this partnership is to make it the number one choice in asset finance as well."
