Westpac's mortgage broker distribution business is hitting the road throughout March for its fourth annual broker road show event, which will include families and friends of brokers by inviting them to local state theme parks.

The road shows will provide Westpac’s accredited residential mortgage brokers with industry insights, market information and strategies that are aimed at helping brokers stay ahead of the pack this year.

Australian cricketing great Max Walker and BT Financial Group chief economist Dr Chris Caton will speak, and a panel discussion will be held to highlight the bank’s current strategy around how it aims to ‘step it up’ with brokers in 2014.

Westpac mortgage broker distribution business general manager Tony MacRae said their team is keen to get in front of key customers – mortgage brokers – and for the first time, their families.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to engage with our key business partners and their families face-to-face at the shows, and if the RSVP responses from our brokers are anything to go by we’re close to being sold out for each session. We had such a positive response from brokers following the announcement of the road shows.”

Westpac’s broker road shows will visit:

  • Sunday 2 March - Melbourne Luna Park
  • Sunday 9 March - Sydney Luna Park
  • Sunday 16 March - Adelaide, Glenelg The Beach House
  • Sunday 23 March - Perth Adventure World
  • Sunday 30 March - Gold Coast SeaWorld
