Loan Market has announced the appointment of Peter Camphin as the new State Manager for Queensland.

Camphin joins Loan Market after leading the Ray White network in Victoria, New Zealand, and for the past 16 years, Queensland. Loan Market chairman Sam White said Camphin's appointment showed a commitment to bring both sides of the group - mortgage broking and real estate - together.

“I believe Peter’s appointment will be a turning point for Loan Market. Nobody knows the Ray White network like he does. More than that, he has unique experience in this state as a leader of a service based franchisor. His broad skills, reputation and energy will create opportunities not just within Ray White but also in other groups and sectors in Queensland,” White said.

Camphin’s appointment is effective from August, but he will still remain heavily involved within the Ray White group. He will continue to be a Director of Ray White Queensland, and for the next few months be part of a Queensland leadership transition committee headed up by Ray White Chairman Brian White.

White said Camphin’s first job as State Manager for Queensland will be to meet face to face with every franchisee/broker in Queensland to discuss their ambitions and those of the company.
