As part of its expansion across real estate technology solutions, CoreLogic International has entered into a binding agreement to acquire boutique Victorian proptech firm Plezzel, subject to regulatory approval.

Established in 2011, Plezzel now provides thousands of real estate directors, agents, and property marketing teams across Australia with customizable digital advertising and marketing support and an inquiry response platform, to help agents grow, build their brands, and drive more listings.

“The proposed acquisition of Plezzel, once complete, is expected to bolster CoreLogic’s considerable investment designed to support the real estate industry through the use of data and sophisticated technology solutions,” said Lisa Claes, CoreLogic International CEO. “Our focus is unequivocally on the future and sourcing the best opportunities that will foster success and enable our real estate partners to engage, advertise and convert leads.”

Greg and Cecille McCutcheon, Plezzel’s Geelong-based founders, said they were looking forward to taking client support to the next level in 2023 and beyond with industry-leading tech solutions.

“This is an exciting development for Plezzel and following completion we look forward to working with CoreLogic to develop innovative digital products to meet the needs of agents in our industry,” Mrs. McCutcheon said.

“With significant industry experience our team is excited to help real estate agents generate more listings and appraisals, and sell property more effectively,” Mr. McCutcheon said.

The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2023.
