A banking and wealth management group has appointed an interim CFO.

MyState Limited announced that Gary Dickson will assume the position on 19 October.

Dickson has over 25 years of experience in a variety of financial roles, with 11 of them passed as CFO. 

Most recently, Dickson served six years as CFO at ME Bank, driving growth across the business and leading the finance team through a core banking platform replacement program.

MyState is excited to welcome Dickson given his history of “strong financial and strategic guidance and analysis, proven leadership and talent development capability.”

Dickson also served as CFO for AXA Australia where he led the delivery of statutory, regulatory and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

He has also held senior positions with the Colonial First State Group Limited, Portfolio Partners Limited and CommBank where he was GM Finance – Investment & Insurance Services.

Dickson has a fixed term contract until June 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

In his new role at MyState, Dickson will be accountable for the finance and treasury activities of the company to ensure the long-term business strategies are supported by effective financial outcomes.
