Mortgage brokerage LendUs has partnered with World360 Rewards — Flight Centre Travel Group's loyalty program, whose partner network already spans brands including Bupa, Caltex, and HelloFresh — to offer Australian home buyers and refinancers travel points tied to their home loan settlement.
The collaboration allows members to earn points redeemable for flights, hotels, and other travel through Flight Centre's network.
Under the arrangement, World360 Rewards members can earn up to 310,000 points when they settle a home loan through LendUs — enough, the companies say, to cover a return flight from Sydney to London. Borrowers also earn up to 2,000 points every month for the life of the loan, adding a recurring incentive on top of the upfront reward.
LendUs positions the offer as a way to add tangible value to a major financial commitment, layering the rewards on top of its existing service comparing rates across more than 30 lenders.
The timing follows continued elevated interest rates, which have pushed many borrowers toward refinancing, debt consolidation, or equity release as they look to manage repayments.
In the June quarter, owner-occupiers lodged 66,449 external refinance commitments worth $41.9 billion, with investors adding 36,597 worth $25.2 billion — activity that eased slightly from March but remains historically high.
Dean Mendelowitz, founder and CEO of LendUs, said the tie-up reflected borrower expectations beyond rate competitiveness.
"Borrowers want clear financial benefits alongside competitive rates. Combining our digital home loans platform with Flight Centre Travel Group's loyalty ecosystem rewards customers for one of the largest financial commitments they will ever make," Mendelowitz said.
Clinton Hearne, executive general manager at World360 Rewards, said the partnership was designed to connect major life milestones with travel outcomes.
"We know buying a home can be stressful and is a massive undertaking. We often hear that a few months after settling, people are more than ready for a proper break. Collaborating with LendUs turns that major milestone straight into their next getaway," Hearne said.
For LendUs, the collaboration adds a fresh angle to its digital lending offer at a time when brokers are competing not just on rate, but on the overall borrower experience around settlement.
