A new head of third party has been appointed at ING.

From November 5, Glenn Gibson will take over the role of head of third party distribution and direct mortgages.

From that date Gibson will take responsibility for driving the relationships with ING’s broker partners, distribution clients and the industry.

Gibson comes to the new role from his position as general manager at Yellow Brick Road, which he started in March this year.

He will report into Melanie Evans, ING’s Head of Retail Banking.

Commenting on the new appointment, Evans said, “I’m looking forward to the contribution Glenn will bring given his extensive experience in leading teams, client relations and championing the industry.”

The previous head of thirty, Mark Woolnough, left the bank in June after a year in the role and 18 at ING.

He switched to head up third party distribution at peer-to-peer lender RateSetter.
