Kaplan Professional has unveiled a bold new training program designed to fast-track the development of confident, client-ready financial advisers.
The Financial Adviser Accelerator Suite, launched this month, delivers a dynamic blend of real-world learning and structured professional development to meet growing demand for skilled talent in the financial advice industry.
The launch comes as Kaplan also introduces a one-time six-week intensive study period beginning Aug. 11 to help advisers meet the Dec. 31 education deadline under the Financial Adviser Standards (FAS) framework.
Kaplan Professional CEO Brian Knight described the Accelerator Suite as a transformational initiative built to reshape adviser education.
“The Accelerator Suite is not just educational – it is transformational,” Knight said.
“Our initiative is designed to establish a clear and structured entry pathway into financial advice, running concurrently with the Professional Year, to accelerate the development of practical knowledge and skills … bringing the profession into alignment with other well-established fields.”
He said the program was developed to give new entrants hands-on experience from the start.
“We have built the program to simulate the real-world challenges advisers face, so individuals can build confidence, capability and client-readiness from day one,” Knight said.
At the heart of the program is a focus on interactive, scenario-based learning, offering a safe and supportive environment where advisers can build professional confidence.
“What we wanted to do is create a dynamic environment where advisers learn by doing – they practice client conversations, make ethical decisions and solve client problems in a safe, supportive environment,” Knight said.
“The structure is flexible but focused … designed to fit around work and life, while still delivering a rigorous, high-impact learning experience.”
The Accelerator Suite is built on four key knowledge pillars, each containing multiple modules:
The content was developed with input from experienced advisers, licensees, and subject matter experts, ensuring relevance to today’s advice environment.
For new advisers, Kaplan says the program offers a clear and supported pathway into the profession, complete with mentorship and practical tools for long-term success.
“We are providing advisers the tools to hit the ground running … not just in knowledge, but in mindset and professionalism,” Knight said. “It is immersive, engaging and designed to build real-world confidence.”
For licensees and employers, the program promises shorter onboarding timeframes, reduced training costs, and access to a pipeline of culturally aligned, client-ready professionals.
“This is about building a stronger, more sustainable financial advice profession,” Knight said.
“We listened to what the industry needed – confident, capable and client-ready professionals – and built a solution we think delivers exactly that.
“When advisers are better prepared, everyone benefits … from licensees, to clients, to the industry as a whole.”
