A mortgage manager has claimed a "show of love" for brokers by axing its establishment fees.

Future Financial said it will waive the $880 establishment fee on its standard and self-employed home loans from today until 29 March. The lender will also waive fees for its SMSF and specialist loan products.

The lender's general manager, Troy McLachlan, indicated the move was a "show of love" for the company's brokers, and touted its "industry high commissions".

Adelaide Bank also recently announced it would waive fees for the month of February, with the bank's general manager of third party lending, Damian Percy, saying the bank hoped to "spark excitement" among brokers and buyers.
