Lender helps brokers with marketing

A new tool has been released to brokers to help with their marketing services.

Pepper Money has an ‘Alternative Lending Marketing Toolkit’, which provides tips and advice to help brokers.

The group’s latest module is ‘A real life guide to Social Media’ and is aimed at helping brokers get more active online and grow their alternative lending business at the same time.

Aimed for brokers just starting out in social media or for those well-seasoned, the tool advises on everything from how to set up pages, optimising those profiles and help with automating posts.

Automating posts is useful for brokers who try to juggle running social media pages as well as their own administration and day-to-day job.

The new tool also provides brokers with ready to go content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Commenting on the launch, Pepper Money’s chief marketing officer, Jo Thrift said, “Social media is now an essential part of a broker’s marketing mix with 79% of the population on social media.

“But for small to medium business owners such as mortgage brokers, developing a social media presence and finding the content to post regularly doesn’t need to be daunting.”

The introduction of this second module follows the success of Pepper’s first module ‘A real life guide to Referral Marketing” which saw more than 1,000 brokers download 3,500 tools since July 2018.

These new guides and tools are available to all Pepper accredited brokers via the Pepper Money Broker Portal.
