Major mortgage franchise Mortgage Choice has appointed a new general manager of distribution.

Mortgage Choice’s current chief information officer Neill Rose-Innes will take over the role of general manager of distribution, effective immediately.

Mortgage Choice chief executive officer John Flavell says Rose-Innes was a natural fit for the role.

“Neill has 30 years' experience in information technology, management consulting and business leadership,” Flavell said.

“During his time as Mortgage Choice’s chief information officer, Neill has been responsible for delivering efficiency and productivity gains through technology, systems and process automation, as well as the effective delivery of support to the franchise network from the learning and development and lending support teams – all of which he has done very successfully.

“With that said, I believe Neill has the experience and the ability to help Mortgage Choice grow its franchise network and, in turn, market share, in his new role as general manager of distribution.”

Prior to joining Mortgage Choice in September 2007, Rose-Innes was the head of operations at Greenway Capital. Previous to that, he was the CIO for RAMS Home Loans.

In his new role, Rose-Innes will be responsible for providing direction, leadership and coaching through the various teams to ensure the franchise network continues to develop and build their sales, marketing and business generation skills.

In addition, he will be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance with the overall brand and system objectives.

“I have been with Mortgage Choice for eight years and, during that time, I have seen the company go from strength to strength in the marketplace. I am confident we can continue to grow, expand and evolve in line with our customers’ needs, as well as extend our already vibrant brand and network. I am looking forward to being a part of this next chapter for Mortgage Choice,” Rose-Innes said.
