The MFAA has welcomed the Federal Treasurer’s decision to defer the introduction of the $2,000 cap on work related education expense deductions until July 1, 2015. “

While the Economic Statement only referred to a postponement, we welcome the Government’s decision to further consult with industry about an alternative solution to excessive claims,” says MFAA CEO, Phil Naylor.

“The government has mentioned that it does not want to impact continuing professional development and we will work hard to ensure that our members’ investment in ongoing training and development is not affected.”
