A non-bank lender has partnered with an industry association to deliver training and education programs to brokers.
 
Non-bank, Chifley Securities will be offering a range of FBAA-accredited training courses on offer aim to help brokers gain expertise in commercial lending.
 
“We are working closely with the FBAA to help raise the level of professionalism and knowledge in the industry," Chifley Securities co-founder Domenic Morello said
 
“Finance brokers who do not keep up with the Australia’s fast changing operating environment with the latest tools and knowledge will simply miss out on the multiple opportunities that exist today and in the future,” said co-founder Dominic Lambrinos.
 
The one day workshops, approved by the FBAA, cover commercial property and finance, property development finance, leasing and cash flow finance and understanding financial statements.
 
Registered finance brokers are invited to participate in the education programs and FBAA conferences at discounted prices, with members of the FBAA receiving discounted prices of up to $500 per workshop.
