Suncorp Bank has strengthened its broker support team with the appointment of a new national manager, small business and commercial.

Robynne Frost will move into the newly created role from her previous position of national manager, key relationship and customer at Suncorp.

Suncorp Bank’s head of intermediaries, Steven Degetto says the appointment was a natural progression for Frost, having showcased her leadership capabilities through her previous customer-centric management roles over the past three years.

“Robynne is an energetic leader who has a diverse range of expertise in financial services, sales management, strategy and distribution, in both personal and business banking,” he said.

“As National Manager Small Business and Commercial, Robynne will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the distribution strategy for small business and commercial lending through intermediaries, as well as managing our specialised sales team.”

Frost says the new small business and commercial team will work as part of the intermediaries’ team, ensuring a strategic and co-ordinated approach to aggregators and brokers.

“Our key focus will be to work closely with our broker partners, building on the success of our home and investment loan distribution, by offering competitive and flexible products for small business customers,” she said.

“We aim to provide a high level of service for brokers and their small business customers from the initial processing of their loan, through to servicing their customer’s ongoing needs.”
