Suncorp has announced a reshuffle of its business development team after one of its industry leaders has shifted locations across the country.

Paul Vogl will now be taking up the role of regional manager southern and will oversee the bank’s Victorian, South Australian, Western Australian and Tasmanian business development teams.

Vogl’s wealth of third party experience was reflected in how he had run the South Australian and Western Australian BDM teams for the last five years, said Mark Vilo, Suncorp’s head of bank intermediaries.

“Paul has a proven track record of success and has built some very strong relationships in these markets. With Paul making the move to Melbourne with his young family we know his strong focus on partnerships will continue with his newly expanded role.”

Suncorp now has the right mix of road and phone-based BDM support across its residential and small business leading teams with everything in place for the coming year, he said.

“It has been a big year across the banking sector and we know 2018 will be no different. I’m confident we have the best team in place to support our partners going forward.”
