Oxygen Home Loans has filled the position left vacant by the departure of industry stalwart James Green.

McGrath has announced it has appointed Alan Hemmings as general manager of Oxygen Home Loans. Hemmings steps in to fill the role left vacant following James Green's shift to Century 21.

Hemmings previously served as NSW state manager for St. George. McGrath COO Geoff Lucas said Hemmings' previous roles in the third-party sector will help in Oxygen's drive to expand.

"Alan has had a distinguished career in the banking and finance sector spanning 16 years, with the last six years in third-party business. He has a detailed knowledge of the credit and mortgage market and has the credentials that we believe will lead the Oxygen business through its next period of growth and expansion," he said.

Hemmings commented that he would focus on growing the company's network of brokers.

"In escalating our broker network, we will recruit the highest quality of brokers to fit in with the culture and exemplary customer service and professional advice that clients know they will receive from both McGrath and Oxygen," he said.
