Brokers using Pallas Capital will soon be able to order and track residential property valuations through a single digital platform, following a new partnership between the non-bank commercial real estate lender and property data provider Cotality.

New valuation tiers and faster turnaround

The new arrangement will cover three tiers of residential valuation: desktop reports for properties valued up to $2 million, short-form valuations up to $5 million, and longform valuations for properties above that threshold.

Jason Arnold (pictured left), group executive – origination at Pallas Capital, said the integration reflects the lender's ongoing focus on the broker experience.

"Valuation delays can create uncertainty for both brokers and borrowers," Arnold said. "By integrating with Cotality's PropertyHub, we're providing brokers with greater transparency and a more streamlined process from application through to settlement."

Arnold added that the move fits a broader pattern of investment in broker-facing tools.

"This is another example of how we're investing in solutions that make it easier for brokers to do business with us while continuing to deliver the responsiveness and service they expect from Pallas Capital," he said.

Single platform to manage valuations end to end

Under the arrangement, brokers will order and monitor valuations through Cotality's PropertyHub platform in a single workflow, giving them clearer visibility as each valuation progresses and cutting administrative effort.

Pallas Capital said the move is intended to shorten turnaround times on residential security valuations and keep brokers better informed of progress from application through to settlement.

Move follows strong lending growth

The partnership lands as Pallas Capital's loan book continues to expand, surpassing $4.7 billion as of 10 August. The move builds on a track record of scale for the lender, which has arranged more than 1,400 transactions worth over $11.1 billion since launching, with roughly $6.4 billion of that already repaid to investors.

Cotality chief commercial officer Lisa Jennings (pictured right) said the tie-up responds to a broader shift in how brokers want to work with lenders.

"Brokers increasingly expect digital processes that provide greater visibility and certainty throughout the lending journey," Jennings said. "We are pleased to support Pallas Capital through PropertyHub, enabling a more streamlined valuation experience that reduces administration friction and helps create better outcomes for brokers and their clients."

The move comes as digital assessment methods gain wider traction across the valuation industry. According to a Cotality report, digital assessments are becoming the dominant method for residential valuations in Australia, with providers such as Opteon estimating around 15% of instructions are now completed digitally as updated international standards formally recognise non-physical assessment methods.
