A short-term funder has announced the appointment of an experienced accounting and legal specialist.

To keep up with the commercial lending market which is becoming more challenging with tighter lending rules, specialist financier NWC Finance has appointed Matt Tenace J.D. MBA. CPA, as national relationship manager, accountancy & legal professions.

His appointment comes at a time when NWC Finance is posting record levels of lending, particularly in the construction and development finance sector.

Tenace said “Business owners are more often turning to their accountants and lawyers for advice about how and who will provide short-term commercial funding and management of a loan facility from start to finish.

“I have joined NWC Finance to provide bespoke, expert advice to accountants and lawyers on a project by project basis, without conflicts or the spectre of regulatory problems.”

CPA and lawyer, Tenace is known for his expertise in commercial finance, construction and development funding, debt restructuring and pre-insolvency workouts.

Tenace said “With an accounting and legal background, I understand the dynamics in the client/adviser relationship, speak the same language and can quickly identify the often complex issues at hand.”

NWC Finance is organising short-term financing with loans ranging from $500,000 to $20 million within days of ATO deadlines, receiving commercial notices to complete or winding up notices.
