Adelaide and Bendigo Bank has appointed two New South Wales business relationship managers with considerable broker experience to try and boost the bank's profile in the mortgage market.

Cassandra Thong, previously a business development manager with HSBC Bank in Australia, has industry knowledge and experience in the New South Wales broker market.

She has also owned a financial planning firm, and worked as a broker with an aggregator group.

Former Mortgage Choice franchise owner Michael Johns also has a wealth of industry expertise, owning three franchises over 13 years before selling the businesses to a fellow franchise owner.

He also worked as a loans manager for Commonwealth Bank and a bank manager at Bank of Sydney.

Adelaide Bank is committed to ensuring that brokers continue to experience the rapid turnaround times and outstanding service they have come to expect from our business,” said broker distribution senior manager Fons Caminiti.

“Having worked at the coal face themselves, both Cassandra and Michael have a keen understanding of the level of service brokers should expect so as to make the home purchasing and or refinancing experience as smooth and stress-free as possible,” he said.
