Challenger aggregator My Local Broker (MLB) has appointed two more state-based business development managers as it grows its national presence.

Brad Driffill will join as WA BDM. Drifill joins MLB with 16 years’ industry experience, including the last six as a BDM for St George Bank.

In addition, Caner Kaya has taken on the role of QLD BDM, moving on from his previous position at MLB as lead broker support. Kaya has formerly managed teams at several high profile companies including iSelect, CommBank and Westpac

The new appointments will work closely with the Melbourne-based support team and Chief Software trainers to ensure brokers have all the resources they need.

MLB CEO Jaci Smith said she is thrilled to see the national expansion plan taking place.

“We are so excited to have a presence in Queensland and WA. It will be fantastic having the team out there, demonstrating the incredible platform and software we are offering brokers.”

MLB recently announced its purpose-built CRM software, Chief, will be officially launched to MLB brokers soon.

According to Smith, the start-up aggregator and its technology-focussed proposition was successfully received by brokers throughout the MFAA Broker 2020 series in May.
