AMP Limited has tapped Felicia Trewin to become its new chief technology officer and a member of the group executive committee, effective March 2022.

She will report to Alexis George, chief executive officer of AMP, and will be responsible for leading technology strategies for the non-major bank across the wealth and banking industry.

Trewin has more than 25 years of experience. Most recently in 2018, she served as the group executive for technology services at AustralianSuper, where she led the technology function and strategy on a global scale.

Prior to joining AustralianSuper, Trewin worked for several giants in their respective industries, including ANZ Bank, Microsoft, Deloitte and Accenture across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

During her time at ANZ Bank, she committed to the strategy and business optimisation for the corporate and commercial sectors of the bank and established its Emerging Technology Labs.

“Digital and data is a key enabler of our strategy and we are pleased to have secured a technology leader of Felicia’s capability to drive our agenda forward,” George said. “She will bring energy and a fresh perspective, but also her extensive experience in the wealth and banking industries. Through her career, Felicia has worked on the full spectrum of technology, from development of new tech to large program delivery and optimisation. We look forward to welcoming her to AMP.”
