Business lender Bizcap has been named one of Australia's Best Workplaces 2026 by Great Place To Work, landing at #5 in the medium business category and marking its third major workplace accolade from the organisation this year alone.
The latest honour follows two earlier wins in 2026: Bizcap was named one of Australia's Best Workplaces for Women in March, then took the top spot on the Best Workplace in Finance and Insurance list in June. Appearing on all three lists in a single year puts the company in a small cohort recognised both for its broader employee experience and for standout performance within its own industry.
Kirsty Nixon (pictured left), Bizcap's head of people and culture, said the run of recognitions reflected deliberate work behind the scenes rather than a single initiative.
"Being recognised across three Great Place To Work lists in a single year is incredibly meaningful because each recognition reflects a different dimension of the culture we are building," Nixon said.
She pointed to staff feedback and professional development as central to that approach.
"We want our people to feel supported, challenged and genuinely excited about the work they do," Nixon said, adding that the results confirmed those efforts "are being felt by our people."
Rebecca del Rio (pictured right), deputy CEO (APAC) and global chief revenue officer, said the wins mattered because they tied culture directly to performance and growth.
"As Bizcap has grown, we have been very deliberate about making sure our culture grows with us rather than becoming something we leave behind," del Rio said.
Rebecca Moulynox, Great Place To Work's ANZ general manager, singled out the finance-sector win as particularly notable given the industry's historical gender imbalance, noting Bizcap "stands out with a notably more balanced gender mix than is typical for the sector."
That imbalance is a familiar challenge closer to brokers' own patch: women made up just 26.8% of Australian mortgage brokers as of the MFAA's most recent Industry Intelligence Service data, unchanged since 2017.
Moulynox added that few organisations manage to feature on a national list, an industry-specific list and the Best Workplaces for Women list in the same year, calling Bizcap's showing across all three "a standout result."
The recognitions add to Bizcap's ongoing investment in leadership development and career pathways, offering independent validation of its workplace culture as the lender continues to scale its operations across the region.
For brokers, that verification carries weight beyond the accolade itself: Bizcap sits on panels including LMG and AFG, offering SME loans from $5,000 to $7.5 million with conditional approvals available in as little as three hours. The lender has funded $4.8 billion globally since launching in 2019, including $1.5 billion in 2025 alone, while growing headcount more than 80 per cent year-on-year.
