Celebrating lenders at the Australian Mortgage Awards

Nominations are pouring in for the 17th annual Australian Mortgage Awards. Some of the strongest submissions have been for the newest categories, the lenders.

Introduced for the first time last year, the lender awards acknowledge the positive influence of good lenders on the mortgage industry. These categories are:

• Major Bank of the Year
  This award recognises the major bank that has displayed excellence in the mortgage industry over the past 12 months.
• Non-Major Bank of the Year
  As above, for the non-major banks that are impressing brokers.
• Non-Bank of the Year
  It’s not just the banks that are making waves.
• Most Effective Online Presence – Lender
  The internet is an important medium for communication and day-to-day business transactions. This category recognises the lender that has best harnessed this medium to provide brokers with practical, effective and easily accessible facilities to help them with their business.

In addition to assessment by the judges, 50% of the weighting will be given to the results of the 2018 MPA Brokers on Banks and Brokers on Non-Banks surveys.
