Another mortgage lender has connected to NextGen.Net’s ‘ApplyOnline’ digital platform to allow brokers to lodge applications via their existing software platforms.

Better Choice Home Loans has joined with the service, which supports electronic lodgement of loan applications by mortgage brokers and provides broker self-registration for access to the service.

Once registered, brokers can request accreditation from a supported lender and enter and submit a loan application.

ApplyOnline allows brokers to then track the application’s status as it progresses through the lender’s loan application workflow.

Better Choice general manager, sales and distribution, Natalie Sheehan, said the company enjoyed record settlement volumes in June and July across its prime and specialist lending products, together with a significant increase in brokers seeking accreditation to take advantage of the wider range of solutions it can offer.

Sheehan added, “The launch of ApplyOnline is a timely addition to support the rise in volumes.

“Better Choice has also recruited additional credit staff and implemented designated prime and specialist lending credit teams to further enhance the overall broker experience.

"We are extremely well positioned to deliver a superior service experience for our brokers through a combination of digital capability and increased staffing levels, with a number of projects also underway which will further underpin our growth into the future.

“At Better Choice we have access to a diverse range of lending options, which allows us to tailor a solution to suit the needs of each individual based on their personal circumstances. With nine funding lines, Better Choice really does offer a wider range of products and solutions than any other mortgage lender.”
