NAB has introduced a new digital tool in the broker channel, which allows customers to digitally sign their documents from anywhere, on any device.

Introducing DocuSign is the latest in a series of digital enhancements by the major lender.

In 2017, NAB released two Verification of Identity apps – IDYou and ZipID – which allow brokers to conveniently verify their client’s identity from their mobile devices.

NAB general manager of broker distribution, Steve Kane, said this is another example of NAB’s ongoing commitment to improving the customer experience, and to supporting brokers.

He said, “By giving brokers the ability to have customers digitally sign their upfront documents, we are making the home loan process simpler, easier, and more convenient.

“We have eliminated the delays that can come with requiring a physical signature, for example, and we are confident this new tool will go a long way to help create a more streamlined process for brokers and for customers.

“These apps provide a simple and easy way for brokers to collect important information and reduce delays. We are continually investing in smart technology to streamline the home loan process, and are continually supporting brokers to deliver the best outcomes for customers.”

NAB brings together its full suite of digital tools for brokers in its ‘Helping You Accelerate’ online hub – which can be accessed via http://partner.nabbroker.com.au/accelerate/.

The Hub provides brokers with personalised support through every stage of the application process, and includes information on how brokers can use the new digital tools.
