Peer-to-peer lender RateSetter has announced a partnership with PLAN Australia that will make its unsecured personal loan and car loan products available to the group’s 1,700 brokers and their clients.

The partnership is RateSetter’s latest over the past 12 months. The lender now sits on the panel of more than ten of Australia’s leading aggregators and has accredited over 9,000 brokers.

Daniel Foggo, CEO at RateSetter, said that he is proud to partner with an aggregator “renowned for its commitment to partnership and transformation.”

“At this critical time for the broking industry we are tremendously excited to be in league with such a premium aggregator whose vision aligns with ours,” he said.

“Brokers can avoid the unnecessary costs and hassle of client turnover if they are equipped a diverse range of offerings. By turning client engagement into a long-term project over the course of 20 to 25 years, brokers are always there for their clients and ensure repeat business.”

PLAN Australia CEO, Anja Pannek, said that the partnership is a great fit.

“It is important to us that we have a diversified lender panel which meets the needs of consumers,” she said.

“Partnering with RateSetter is a great fit for us and our membership.”
