Victorian valuation firm Patel Dore has officially become part of Herron Todd White (HTW), effective July 1, marking a new chapter for both firms and enhancing HTW’s national service capability.

Strengthening HTW’s national network

The integration brings Patel Dore’s trusted local expertise in government and statutory valuations under the Herron Todd White brand, reinforcing HTW’s position as a national market leader.

“Patel Dore has a legacy in the industry, and we are proud to welcome their people and clients into the HTW network,” said HTW CEO Gary Brinkworth (pictured) in a media release

Clients will now see all communication and reports from the former Patel Dore team under the Herron Todd White branding, with continued access to expert advice and a broader national valuation platform.

Rod Patel retires, leaving a lasting legacy

The transition also marks the retirement of Rod Patel, founding director of Patel Dore and a respected figure in the Victorian valuation sector. Patel is known for his long-standing service to government clients, professionalism, and leadership within the industry.

“His leadership has shaped the Patel Dore business and set the benchmark for excellence in statutory and government valuations,” HTW said.

HTW acknowledged Patel’s lasting influence and the high standards he leaves behind in the team he mentored – valuers who now continue their work under the HTW banner.

Looking ahead for HTW in Victoria

HTW, which recently flagged renewed property market confidence in its June 2025 Month in Review, said it remains committed to serving its government and private sector clients across Victoria and beyond, with the former Patel Dore team now strengthening its local presence.

“We thank [Patel] for his contribution to the industry and wish him all the very best in the next chapter of his life. His legacy will continue through the team he built and mentored,” HTW said.

The integration follows recent highlights for the national firm, including cross-border collaboration at the API/WAVO Global Property Congress, where HTW valuers helped showcase Australia’s governance and quality standards on the global stage.

HTW also recently partnered with Quadrant Private Equity, which acquired a majority stake to support the firm’s continued growth and innovation across residential, commercial, government, and agribusiness sectors.
