nabtrade has recruited high-profile market commentator Tom Piotrowski to lead financial markets coverage for NAB Private Wealth and nabtrade, delivering daily commentary for high‑value and self‑directed clients.
Piotrowski, known from more than two decades of market coverage, will front NAB’s commentary stream and provide regular updates for customers.
“Tom isn’t just a market expert. He brings a mix of credibility, charisma, and connection with customers and investors,” NAB Private Wealth executive Michael Saadie said in a media release.
Piotrowski said his focus is keeping market information accessible for a broad range of investors.
“I’ve always believed finance doesn’t have to be boring, so I aim to make sense of the markets in a way that’s accessible for the seasoned investor, the first-time stock buyer and everyone in between trying to do better financially for their families and futures,” he said.
NAB Private Wealth has also appointed experienced finance executive Nik Kritikos to run equity market solutions for nabtrade’s top clients.
Kritikos, who has 30 years’ banking experience in Australia and overseas, will lead a team of relationship managers serving high‑net‑worth and private banking customers.
“We are delighted to welcome an experienced executive like Nik to lead our nabtrade offering to our high-net worth clients,” Saadie said. “Nik has a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics and will be instrumental in supporting our high-net worth and Private Banking clients with their trading requirements.”
Earlier, NAB Private Wealth named Alexandra Campbell CIO, reinforcing a push to deepen investment strategy and advice across JBWere and its wealth platform.
