Sydney-based brokerage Azura Financial has joined forces with Stella Private to launch Azura Private, a new advisory platform aimed at high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporate clients seeking sophisticated finance solutions. The new venture begins operating from Monday 24 August.
Azura Private brings together Azura Financial's broking capability with Stella Private's specialisation in private banking, real estate finance, strategic advisory, and complex corporate credit. The combined offering is designed to give clients access to tailored capital solutions across private banks, institutional lenders and private credit markets.
Expanding beyond traditional broking
The launch adds to Azura Financial's existing reach across residential, commercial, and complex lending, as well as insurance through Azura Protect, bringing a dedicated private banking and advisory capability to the group.
The firm is currently ranked among Australia's Top 10 Brokerages, and was named winner of the Finance Broker Business Award at the MFAA's 2026 National Excellence Awards in July, recognising its performance among NSW and ACT brokerages.
Azura Financial founder Tom Hawley said the move reflects the firm's broader growth ambitions since launching in 2016.
"This is an exciting step for us. Azura has always been built around six-star service across every part of a client's lending journey. Azura Private deepens the bench behind that promise," Hawley said.
The new platform will be led by Ben Braysich, executive director and co-founder of Stella Private and former national head of property at Commonwealth Bank's private banking division. Hugo McWilliam, who joined Stella Private from LGT Wealth Management, and Chris Kang, who has advised clients across CBA's Private and Corporate Bank divisions, will round out the leadership team.
Braysich said the new venture reflects a deliberate combination of private banking, advisory, and finance expertise under one roof.
"Azura Private brings together the best of private banking, strategic advice and finance. We've built a business designed to help successful Australians navigate complex opportunities with confidence," Braysich said.
Azura Private is now taking new client enquiries, with further details available on the firm's website.
