More than 850 of Australia’s mortgage broking and finance heavyweights descended on The Fullerton Hotel Sydney Friday evening, turning up the glamour, the glitz and the industry star power for the sold-out 2026 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs), the closest thing the broking world has to its very own Oscars.
With black tie firmly on the dress code and the fashion stakes running high, the night brought together the who’s who of Australia's lending universe. There was no shortage of talent as standout brokers and brokerages, lenders, aggregators, BDMs and other influential industry insiders, gathered for an evening of networking, celebrating and, of course, some well-deserved trophy collecting.
The annual event, co-hosted by Australian Broker and Mortgage Professional Australia (MPA), honours innovators and leaders setting new standards of excellence in the mortgage broking industry as they compete across 28 prestigious categories.
Adding extra sparkle to Friday’s festivities was Australian singer and actress Kate Ceberano, who took centre stage as the feature act, while Australian TV presenter and author Andrew Daddo took the reins as MC. The after party, which was sponsored by FINSTREET, turned up the retro vibes with dancers in neon-colored body suits and tunes by Emalia Jane, aka DJ Em.
Australian Broker and MPA offer a warm congratulations to all winners and finalists (aka Excellence Awardees).
