Think you or someone else has what it takes to claim one of the Australian mortgage industry's most coveted accolades?

Now's your chance: nominations for the 2026 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs) are officially open.

Widely regarded as the Oscars of Australia’s mortgage and finance sectors, the AMAs celebrate the individuals and businesses that are setting the benchmark for excellence. Produced by Key Media and presented in partnership with Australian Broker and Mortgage Professional Australia (MPA), the awards recognise outstanding mortgage and finance professionals who have made a significant impact to the industry in the past 12 months.

"A nomination can open doors: new opportunities, visibility and validation that fuels someone to keep pushing their best work forward," Tim Brown, chief executive officer of private equity firm Recludo, and one of this year's judges, told Australian Broker. "Your vote can genuinely change a career trajectory."

Fellow judge and Chief Executive Officer of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Anja Pannek added that the AMAs "are a valuable opportunity for the industry to recognise the people and businesses making an impact across the mortgage and finance sector. As a judge, I encourage everyone to take part in the voting process and help acknowledge those whose work, leadership and contribution deserve to be recognised.”

Industry players can cast their ballot before 3 July.
