The countdown is on. There’s just one week left to nominate standout professionals and organizations for the 2025 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs). With the ballot box closing this Friday, now’s the time to make sure mortgage industry champions get the recognition they deserve. Whether it’s a rising star, a top-performing brokerage, or a trailblazing lender, this is your last chance to shine a spotlight on excellence in the mortgage and finance sector.

"It’s a great opportunity to support a broker who has crafted a strategy driving efficiency and representing their clients with earnestness,” Dean Koutsoumidis, managing director at Equity-One, told Australian Broker. The Melbourne-based commercial mortgage lender and investment fund is sponsoring the "Equity-One Broker of the Year – Productivity" award.

Ian Rakhit, general manager, home buying distribution at digital lender Bankwest, is also encouraging mortgage industry professionals to cast their votes.

"Brokers play a vital role in the banking industry," Rakhit said. "And awards like the Australian Mortgage Awards celebrate individuals and organisations leading the way in innovation, inspiring others and elevating standards across the broker industry."

Bankwest is sponsoring the "Bankwest New Brokerage of the Year" award

Barry Saoud, general manager of mortgages and commercial at non-bank lender Pepper Money, added: "Taking a moment to nominate someone is one of the most helpful things you can do in our industry. It’s a way to recognise the brokers who go the extra mile – especially in specialty lending – helping customers who need it most. Celebrating their impact lifts us all."

Pepper Money is sponsoring the "Pepper Money Broker of the Year – Specialty Lending" award.

Don’t miss your chance to recognize excellence – submit your nominations before the deadline.
