Nominations for the Australian Mortgage Awards (AMA) are now open.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Then don't delay. Nominations for the prestigious awards officially open today. Entries close on 4 July.

Finalists (Excellence Awardees) will be revealed on 11 August, with winners crowned at the industry's most anticipated night of the year.

This year’s black-tie gala takes place on 17 October, at the Fullerton Hotel Sydney in the heart of the city's central business district. Expect a night of champagne, connection and celebration with the industry’s finest.

Celebrating the best in mortgage broking, the annual awards honour standout brokers, firms, lenders, aggregators, BDMs and service providers across 28 categories – from Broker of the Year (both residential and commercial) to Bank of the Year, Best in Specialist Lending, Best Aggregator, Best Regional Brokerage and more.

The 2025 AMA extravaganza is set to impress, with iconic Aussie rocker Daryl Braithwaite as the feature act and beloved comedian and television host Dave Hughes taking the stage as MC. Westpac returns as the proud event sponsor.

"Westpac is excited to partner with the 2025 Australian Mortgage Awards, marking our 17th year of celebrating excellence in mortgage broking," Sarah Willsallen, head of broker distribution at Westpac Group, told Australian Broker. "Many Australians begin their Westpac home loan journey with a broker, which is why we continue to invest in the broker experience and champion the dedication and expertise of our broker partners."

Willsallen added she’s "excited to learn who the finalists are in the coming weeks and to celebrate at the big awards night. So get your submissions in."

In addition, Liberty and National Australia Bank (NAB) are premium sponsors for this year's event.

"As the bank behind the broker, NAB is proud to be a partner of this major event once again," said Adam Brown, executive, broker distribution at NAB. "Brokers and aggregators demonstrate remarkable dedication to achieving excellent outcomes for customers, and these awards provide us all with the chance to be inspired by the outstanding achievements in the mortgage industry over the past year. We hope you enjoy the celebrations."
