Western Australia’s leading mortgage and finance professionals were recognised last night at the 2025 MFAA WA State Excellence Awards, held at Crown Perth.
The event honoured professionals who have shaped WA’s mortgage and finance sector through their focus on client outcomes, education, and operational excellence.
The celebration comes as mortgage brokers continue to gain ground nationally, with the MFAA reporting brokers settled a record 76.8% of all new residential loans in the March 2025 quarter, up from 76% the previous quarter – a reflection of Australians’ growing trust in broker expertise.
Winners were announced across 18 award categories, highlighting the exceptional achievements of MFAA members throughout Western Australia.
MFAA CEO Anja Pannek (pictured) praised the local industry’s dedication to high standards and client success.
“Western Australia’s mortgage professionals continue to set the bar high,” Pannek said. “We’re incredibly proud of their commitment to client care, compliance and innovation.
“The achievements celebrated last night reflect not only outstanding business results, but also the dedication brokers bring to every client relationship.”
The WA awards are part of the MFAA’s national recognition program, with five state-based ceremonies culminating in the National Excellence Awards in Melbourne on July 23.
MFAA also acknowledged the support of its 2025 awards partners, including ALI Group, Bankwest, Commonwealth Bank, Connective, Helia, ING, La Trobe Financial, Macquarie Bank, ME, Mortgage Choice, MPA, NAB, Pepper Money, Prospa, QBE, Resimac, and Teachers Mutual Bank.
